Jonathan Glancey, author of “Spitfire: The Biography”, is researching a new book focussed on Operation Bowler, the Desert Air Force raid on the Venice docks, March 1945.
We were delighted that the Taxi Charity held the first event of their 75th anniversary here at the RAF Club on Friday 10th February 2023.
On Saturday 28th January, the RAF Club celebrated the life of Scottish poet Robert Burns at our annual Burns Night Supper.

Our Dining Room and Running Horse Tavern are back in action with a new menu that was definitely worth the wait.

The Club is carrying out a refurbishment project to improve and update the lobby area, generously supported by the Friends of the RAF Club. The work will consist of new front doors, a new reception desk, new carpet and the area will be re-decorated.
