Winter Gourmet Dinner - Indian Fine Dining

On 14th November, we were delighted to welcome our members and their guests for an unforgettable evening celebrating the vibrant flavours of India. Set against the elegant backdrop of the Club, the evening began with a inviting champagne reception in the 601 Squadron Room, paving the way for an intimate dining experience in the Library.

Our Executive Chef, Michael Dutnall, and his dedicated team crafted an exquisite four-course menu that masterfully showcased the essence of Indian cuisine. Guests savoured each dish with perfectly paired wines and Kingfisher, a premium Indian lager, to enhance the experience. Highlights of the evening included monkfish served with coconut lentil dahl and samphire pakora, followed by a refreshing mango lassi palate cleanser. The main course featured a Deggi mirch cutlet lamb, paired with pulled lamb shoulder biryani and lamb “Osso Bucco” masala, served with tangy tamarind chutney. The culinary journey concluded with a bun maska pudding with caramel cardamom custard and mango, complemented by the sweet notes of Chateau Haut-Fonrousse, Monbazillac.
