On the 13th February, Wing Commander Michael Gilbert presented the Club with our new Badge with the Tudor Crown. The new Badge replaced the Badge with St Edwards Crown, used by Queen Elizabeth II.
On the 25th of February, we hosted the first of our wine tasting series of 2025, presented by Robert Hayward of Hayward Bros.
We are delighted to announce the appointment of Elliot Plimmer as Executive Chef at the Royal Air Force Club. Elliot brings a wealth of experience and a passion for culinary excellence, having developed his skills in some of the finest hospitality settings.
On Saturday 25th January, our Members and their guests celebrated the life and work of Robert Burns "the national poet of Scotland", at the Club's annual Burns Night Dinner.
We are delighted to update you on the Club’s sustainability journey, which has started very positively since we announced our partnership with EarthCheck last November.
You can almost picture the scene, farmers and workhands working the fields in the heat of the summer sun, shield their eyes with their rough hands, drawn to the unmistakable sound of an aircraft engine as it chugs slowly overhead.
In order for us to allow our team to take some well-earned holiday in January, the Dining Room will be closed between Thursday 2nd January and Sunday 12th January 2025. During this time, breakfast will be served in the Sovereign's Room.
This annual London’s New Year’s Day Parade 2025 promises an unforgettable experience with over 10,000 performers including dancers, singers, and marching bands, all parading through central London starting at 12 PM on January 1st.
