On Monday 21st May 2018, the Royal Air Force Club was privileged to welcome the last surviving British member of the Dam Busters to a special Club Dinner to commemorate 75 years since Operation Chastise.
The Royal Air Force Club proudly celebrated its official centenary on 30th October 2018 and to help mark the occasion, two Royal Receptions were held at the prestigious and historic St James’s Palace.
Tuesday 30th October 2018 was The Royal Air Force Club’s official 100th Birthday, and it was a day of huge celebration.
The Club was privileged to welcome our Royal Patron, Her Majesty The Queen to the Club on 17th October 2018 to celebrate our centenary year.

On 10 July 2018, 100 days after its 100th birthday, the Royal Air Force celebrated its centenary year with an incredible parade and flypast over London.
Longstanding member, Club Trustee and Chairman of the Arts Committee, Wg Cdr Michael Gilbert co-authored the definitive account of the Club’s history ‘128’ The Story of the Royal Air Force Club in 2004.
