This afternoon the RAF Club hosted an Afternoon Tea for Hospitality Action's Golden Friends, a support network created for hospitality retirees to stay connected to their industry and friends.

It's a wonderful initiative that we're proud to support, with members of the scheme benefiting from a befriending service with regular contact, afternoon teas and dinners at some brilliant hotels and restaurants in the UK, and even financial support to cover winter fuel costs or home adaptions. The Golden Friends scheme is free to join for anybody who has now retired but worked for 5 years or more in the hospitality sector.

We loved having the Golden Friends team at the Club and look forward to welcoming them back in the future!
