Burns Night Supper
Monday 1st November 2021
Join us in January to celebrate the life and poetry of Robert Burns, the ‘the national poet of Scotland’, with fellow members and friends, for the Club’s annual Burns Night Dinner. Enjoy a Champagne reception followed by a four course meal accompanied by wines and whisky plus all the theatre of a traditional Burns supper.
A Burns supper is a celebration of the life and poetry of Scottish poet and lyricist Robert Burns. The suppers are usually held around the poet's birthday, 25th January. The occasion typically includes haggis (which was celebrated by Burns in Address to a Haggis), bagpipes, Scotch whisky and the recitation of Burns's poetry.
