Thursday 17th February 2022
To mark the centenary of the opening of the Royal Air Force Club at 128 Piccadilly, Michael Gilbert’s talk will tell a fascinating story of one man’s vision and drive overcoming post-war obstacles that had deterred all others. Michael will also give a picture of the Club’s interior and ethos at this time, in so many ways a traditional “Gentleman’s Club” yet also revolutionary in its admission of Ladies. A revolution it must be said that was to sit uneasily for many years in Piccadilly. Click here to find out more and to book.
