Three Vacancies on the Board of Trustees

Would you like to give something back to your Club? 

Are you passionate about supporting the membership and staff, and contributing to your Club? Are you a Full Member? (Serving, Former Serving, Reserves, Honorary Life and Widowed Members). We have three Trustees leaving the Board of Trustees in November and are looking for Full Members who would like to contribute to the future of the Club. The term of office would be an initial three-year term with an option to extend.

Role of a Trustee and Key Responsibilities:

* Governance: Provide strategic direction and oversee the Club’s activities.

* Financial Stewardship: Ensure sound financial management and accountability.

* Risk Management: Identify and manage risks effectively.

* Advocacy: Promote the Club’s mission and values and safeguard the Club’s legacy.

* Collaboration: Work closely with fellow Trustees, Club members, Club Management and staff.

* Meetings: Attend the six Board of Trustees meetings each year, preferably in person, alongside other Committee work/meetings as agreed.

Qualifications: We welcome applications from those with diverse skills and backgrounds. Whilst we are looking for individuals with specific skillsets and experience in some of the following areas, in particular: Employment law, Sustainability, Fundraising or Digital and Data, a passion for our mission and a commitment to our values are equally important.
