Czechoslovak Squadron Badges Presented to the RAF Club

Friday 21st June 2024

On 21st June the Royal Air Force Club was pleased to receive three Czechoslovak Squadron Badges that complete our collection at the Club.

The 313 Squadron Badge that previously hung on our wall will now be joined by 310, 311 and 312 Squadron Badges that were beautifully painted by the College of Arms.

After the event had been postponed due to the pandemic, the three squadron badges were handed over to our Chairman Air Vice-Marshal David Murray, by the Chief of the General Staff of the Czech Armed Forces, Karel Řehka.

Present were the ambassador of the Czech Republic to Great Britain Mrs. Marie Chatardová, representatives of Jagello 2000 - the chairman of the association Zbyněk Pavlačík, Eliška Prchlíková, and Miroslav Bradna, children and grandchildren of Czechoslovak veterans, the Chair of our Arts & Heritage Committee and Club Trustee Group Captain James Beldon and the RAF Air Cadets.
