On Tuesday 27th June, the Club hosted a dinner with guest speaker Roddy Mackenzie, author of the book Bomber Command: Churchill's Greatest Triumph.

Attendees enjoyed a delicious three-course dinner and a compelling talk from Roddy about his Father, Roland MacKenzie DFC, who was seconded by the RCAF to pilot a Lancaster for 34 combat sorties with 166 Squadron One Group RAF Bomber Command from 9th April until 11th August 1944. The Club has had fantastic feedback from this event complimenting the food, service and Roddy's talk.
