Chef Awards 2022 👨‍🍳🎉

We are delighted to announce that two members of the Club's very talented kitchen team have both won two incredible awards in the culinary word.

Chef De Partie Harry Donnelly (Pictured right), was one of the youngest Regional Finalist competing in the prestigious Roux Scholarship competition last week. The Roux Scholarship is a premier cooking competition for Chefs in the UK and has an acclaimed panel of judges including Michel Roux Jr, Clare Smyth and Rachel Humphrey (to name just a few). 

 

Our Kitchen Apprentice Kai Le-Tran (Pictured left) came third place, winning a Bronze medal at the International Salon Culinaire, which is regarded one of the world's top cooking competitions. Kai won his award in the international Butchering Skills Test, in which he had to butcher a whole chicken for sauté in under 30 minutes.
