Club Chair, Air Vice-Marshal The Hon David Murray CVO OBE DL was delighted to accept these paintings by Anthony Cowland of the A400M Atlas from Airbus UK. The A400M Atlas was used by the Royal Air Force as part of Operation Pitting to help evacuate more than 17,000 people from Kabul. The teams undertook more than 100 evacuation flights, 31 of which were conducted by the A400M. The paintings were presented to the Club by Mr Richard Franklin, Managing Director of Airbus UK and is now hanging in the Ground Floor corridor at the Royal Air Force Club.
