Celebrating Our TV Chefs

On Thursday 5th September, the Royal Air Force Club held a very special event as we celebrated the remarkable achievements of our Pastry Chef, Gerol Nulud, and Executive Chef, Michael Dutnall MCA. A huge credit to the Club, the duo recently reached the finals of Bake Off: The Professionals on Channel 4, and we couldn't be prouder!

The evening commenced with look at Gerol and Michael's time on the show and was closely followed by an exclusive interview conducted by none other than TV Chef Matt Tebbutt from Saturday Kitchen. Members and guests were treated to insightful stories and behind-the-scenes anecdotes as Gerol and Michael shared their journey through the competition.

Following the engaging interview and an exciting Q&A, attendees had the opportunity to mingle with the stars of the evening. Specially for the evening, Michael and Gerol recreated two of their showpieces from the series which the attendees admired before savouring an array of exquisite creations crafted by our talented chefs.

Each canapé was a testament to Gerol and Michael's creativity and skill, inspired by their time on the show. Paired with fine Crémant, Club wines, and a selection of soft drinks, the evening was a true gastronomic delight.

We extend our heartfelt congratulations to Gerol and Michael for their incredible achievement. Their dedication and talent continue to elevate the culinary offerings at the Club. We are grateful to Club Member Matt Tebbutt ambassador of the Royal Air Force Association, skillfully facilitated this conversation drawing from his own expertise as a Chef on Saturday Kitchen.
